Visiting of Chinese New Year Open House

Thursday, 14 February 2013|Liu Xu Visiting of Chinese New Year Open House On 10th February 2013, which is the first day of the Chinese Spring Festival, Liu Xu a visiting language teacher, lead 7 UMP students to attend the Chinese Spring Festival Open House event held by Dato'Sri Lee Jin Xian. During the Open House event, the students experienced the customs of the Chinese Spring Festival such as greeting the host in Mandarin "Xin Nian Kuai Le"(Happy new year),"Gong Xi Fa Cai" (Wishing you prosperity and wealth) , obtained knowledge of the Chinese zodiac and received the red packets from the host.This is the first time for the students to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival, where all of them showed a great interest in this traditional festival. |
