11 Students Joined Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) In Kong Zi Institute, University Of Malaya
On Sunday, 1 December 2013, Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC), led by Ms. Yong Ying Mei and trainer of Preparatory Mandarin Class, Ms. Liu Xu, has brought 11 UMP students to Kong Zi Institute, University of Malaya. The purpose of the trip was for the students to sit for Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK), which is Chinese Proficiency Test of China. It was organized by Chinese National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language(Hanban), China. The candidates involved were ten Malay and one Chinese students who had started learning Mandarin in Preparatory Mandarin Class with Ms. Liu Xu from early this year. However, on that day, they did not come to sit for the same test. Eight of them sat for HSK level 1, 2 for HSK level 3 and 1 for HSK level 5. After the test, the students took the chance to have a photography session with Mr. Chen Zhong, Director of Kong Zi Institute. This test is prestigious as the answer scripts will be sent to China to be marked by the examiners from Chinese National Office for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language (Hanban) and the results will be given after a month. |
