Ceremony of Newspaper Handover by Sponsor

On 26 February 2014, MLCC held a special ceremony to receive 3 copies of Sin Chew Daily from sponsor Dato’ Alex Teh Boon Sing, Executive Chairman, Nilaitek (M) Sdn. Bhd. In his speech, Dato’ Alex Teh stressed that students must have good command of languages so that they would be more proficient in expressing themselves in relation to their work and profession. He recommended strongly Mandarin language for the students because the developmental trend of the world suggested that Mandarin would become an important language economically.

MLCC Director Chong Ah Kow has earlier in the welcoming speech expressed his gratitude to YH Dato’ Alex Teh for his generosity in sponsoring 3 copies of Sin Chew Daily for three consecutive years since 2012.

Also present were Dato’ Sri Lee Jin Xian, President of Malaysia Chinese Culture Association for Pahang Branch, Tan Kee Seng, East Coast Manager of Sin Chew Daily, Tan Kian Seng, Executive, Newspaper Reading Programme of Sin Chew Daily, Malaysian Calligraphy Master Hor Chim Sam Yong Ying Mei, Mandarin Subject Coordinator, Kang Mei Feng, Liu Xu, Yuan Jie and Peng An Qi.
