 A MEANINGFUL CERTIFICATE AWARDING CEREMONY

On 2 April 2014, MLCC organized a meaningful Certificate Awarding Ceremony to give away certificates to participants who have successfully completed Mandarin courses between September 2013 to February 2014. The ceremony was held at Banquet Hall, Chancellery and Professor Dr. Abd Jalil bin Borham represented Vice Chancellor as the guest of honour to deliver the certificates to 50 successful candidates, which included 34 Kuantan Port Consortium (KPC) staff and 16 UMP students.  

In his speech, Professor Dr. Abd Jalil bin Borham congratulated all the candidates and expressed his appreciation over their persistent effort in completing the Mandarin course. Meanwhile, participants’ representative, Ustaz Mohd Mahayudin Bin Mohd Hashim from KPC thanked the teachers of MLCC for their interesting classroom teaching and suggested that KPC should come out with a weekly Mandarin Day programme to encourage the staff to use the language.

Also present in the ceremony included Mr. Azahari Bin Muhammad Yusof, KPC General Manager, Dr. Norrihan Binti Sulan, Deputy Dean of CMLHS and Mr. Chong Ah Kow, MLCC Director.
