Appreciation Luncheon for Volunteer Teachers

On 20 June 2014, MLCC organised a lunch for volunteer teachers from Hebei University, China, namely Liu Xu, Yuan Jie and Peng Anqi, to convey the appreciation for their contributions towards UMP and MLCC in particular. The invited guests included YH Professor Dato’ Dr Mortaza Mohamed, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Abd Jalil Borham, Dean of CMLHS, Dr. Norrihan Sulan, Dr. Nik Aloesnita Nik Mohd Alwi and Dr. Aini binti Ahmad. MLCC associates Chong Ah Kow, Yong Ying Mei, Kang Mei Feng and Nornashua Farhani Abdul Ghaffar also attended the lunch.

The volunteer teachers’ service in UMP will end by August 2014 for the current session. YH Professor Dato’ Dr Mortaza Mohamed, Deputy Vice Chancellor, praised the MLCC’s outstanding achievement and expressed his satisfaction over performance of the volunteer teachers. They were presented with local batik cloth as souvenir by MLCC.

Besides, YH Professor Dato’ Dr Mortaza Mohamed was invited to give away HSK Certificates to successful candidates and prizes to winners of video contest organised by MLCC.
