Certificate Awarding Ceremony by MLCC

On 21 December 2014, MLCC had organized a certificate awarding ceremony to give away certificates to participants who have successfully completed ‘Conversational Mandarin for Business’ course between 13 September 2014 and 21 December 2014.

The ceremony was held at Tun Fatimah Hall, Gambang campus. Mr Mohamad Hafizal Bin Aliasak, manager of UMP Holdings represented CEO of UMP Holdings as the guest of honour to deliver the certificates to 44 successful candidates. In his opening speech, he congratulated all the participants and expressed his appreciation over their persistent effort in completing the course.

In the welcoming speech, Dr. Norrihan binti Sulan, Deputy Dean of Academic, Center for Modern Languages & Human Sciences (CMLHS) encouraged the participants to keep on using the language even after having completed the course. Meanwhile, the participants’ representative, Madam Fauziah binti Idrus thanked the teachers of MLCC for their interesting classroom teaching and Chinese cultural activities such as Chinese calligraphy writing and making Chinese tea as well as Chinese dumpling.

Also present during the ceremony were Mr. Chong Ah Kow, MLCC Director, Ms Yong Ying Mei, Ms Cheng Ching Yee, Ms Cui Meng Jie, Mr Chang Xiao Bo and Mr Wang Xiao Zhi, Mandarin language teachers.
