MLCC delegates joined the Spring Festival Celebration at Institute of Kong Zi, University of Malaya

A delegation from Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC) had joined the Spring Festival Celebration at Institute of Kong Zi, University of Malaya on 28th January 2016. Mr Chen Zhong, Director of Institute of Kong Zi (China) expressed his gratitude for wonderful support by inviting MLCC to join this event. MLCC delegates included Ms Yong Ying Mei, Director of MLCC and Ms Cheng Ching Yee. They were also accompanied by three Mandarin volunteer teachers from China, Ms Ju Meng, Ms Sun Yun Feng and Ms Wang Wen Ying.

The Spring Festival Celebration that was organized by Institute of Kong Zi started with the welcoming speech by Mr Chen Zhong. In his speech, he took the opportunity to voice his appreciation towards the support from UMP and all cooperative partners. The guests were then entertained with a delightful series of cultural performances such as Chinese songs, Chinese dances, Guzheng and Guqin performances. The highlight of the event was the lucky draw with guests receiving ang pows. The guests were later served with delicious Xinjiang dishes.
