MLCC Promotional Program at Jom Masuk IPT Carnival 2016 at Terengganu

Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC) joint the Jom Masuk IPT Carnival 2016, East Coast Zone. The event was held at University Sultan Zainal Abidin Gong Badak Campus, Kuala Terengganu from the 13^th to 14th February 2016. The idea to join the carnival was proposed by Ms Yong Ying Mei, Director of MLCC and Madam Nornashua Farhani Abdul Ghaffar, MLCC Administrative Assistant. The primary objective of joining the carnival was to promote the Mandarin courses offered by the MLCC. The MLCC booth was set up under the Department of Academic Management, Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Among the MLCC programs promoted during the carnival were Mandarin Short Courses, Preparatory Course for Hebei University, China Further Studies Program, Intensive Mandarin and Tour Twinning Program. Realizing the importance of Mandarin as one of the most-spoken world languages, MLCC took the opportunity to expose the general public to the need of learning the language as a second language. MLCC aimed at attracting high school students and working individuals to enrol for the courses offered.
