MLCC Welcomes Two Volunteer Teachers from China Two volunteer language teachers from Hanban, China reported for duty at the Mandarin Language & Culture Centre (MLCC), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) on 8th November 2016. They were Shao Zhenglan and Zhang Weiqing. The volunteer teachers will be involved in various academic activities at the centre for a one-year contract. MLCC had organized an informal orientation program for both of them from 8th–11th November. Among the activities during the program were introducing them to UMP and a tour around Kuantan. They made several courtesy calls to the management team of the Centre for Modern Languages & Human Sciences; Associate Professor Dr Muhammad Nubli Bin Abdul Wahab (Dean), Dr Aini Binti Ahmad (Deputy Dean, Academic) and Dr Hafizoah Binti Kassim (Deputy Dean, Research and Development).
