MLCC Director, Ms Yong Ying Mei awarded “Excellent Paper” at the 1st ASEAN Academic Conference on Teaching Chinese
| A delegation from Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC) had participated in the 1st ASEAN Academic Conference on Teaching Chinese that was organized by the Malaysia Mandarin Culture and Communication Association. The conference was held on the 16th - 17th February 2017 at the Wisma M.C.A, Kuala Lumpur.
The MLCC delegation included Ms. Yong Ying Mei and Ms. Cheng Ching Yee. Both of them had presented their research papers at the conference. Ms. Yong had received “Excellent Paper” award at the conference as her research had received various compliments from the professional panel of the conference. The proceedings were as follows: 1. Yong Ying Mei. (2017). A Study on Mandarin Speaking Analysis among Non-Chinese students in Malaysia. The conference was attended by professors and lecturers from China and lecturers from University of Malaya, Sultan Idris Education University and MARA University of Technology. The conference was a success as the experts of Teaching Chinese from China and Malaysia shared their academic innovations to improve the Teaching and Learning of Teaching Chinese in Malaysia.
