A visit to Tianjin University

On 28 September 2017, a delegation from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) visited Tianjin University (TJU), China. Members of the delegation were Professor Dato Dr. Rosli Bin Mohd Yunus (Deputy Vice Chancellor) and Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director of Mandarin Language and Culture Centre). The visit was in conjunction with the Confucian Scholarship for Mandarin Mobility Summer Program 2016 awarded to three UMP students for a month beginning on 14 July until 15 August 2016 at Tianjin University.

A meeting was held to discuss the potential collaborations between UMP with TJU. Besides that, the delegation also visited history museum of TJU. UMP delegation was given a warm reception by Associate Professor Dr. Zhu Haitao (Head of Department, School of Civil Engineering), Ms. Yang Xiaorui (Director of Admissions Office, School of International Education) and Ms. Shao Tianpin (Administration of School of International Education).
