Mandarin book awarded Double Gold at British Invention Show in London

On 21 October 2017, innovation on education technology development via QR code in Mandarin For All: Book 1 by Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director of Mandarin Language and Culture Centre, MLCC) and Ms. Cheng Ching Yee (Mandarin language teacher) was awarded Double Gold (Special Award) and Gold Medal at the British Invention Show (BIS) 2017, London. The event was held from 18th October to 21st October 2017 at the Barbican Exhibition Centre in London, United Kingdom. It was organized by The British Inventors Society and British Invention Show as a platform to showcase innovations and invention of products. It exhibited the products and services which included innovation, enterprise investors, inventors, designers and manufacturers. BIS was judged by 25 expert judges, comprised of leading inventors, innovators, academics and entrepreneurs whose priorities were social and ecological benefits to mankind, originality as well as ingenuity. The awards were given in categories which included British Invention, International Invention, Innovation, Environment, Design and Young Innovator of the Year awards. The evaluation elements of BIS among others included consumer, leisure, industrial and natural earth.
