UTHM visits Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC) & the Foreign Language Department

21 December 2017 - A delegation from the International Language Department, Universiti Tun Hussien Onn Malaysia (UTHM) visited Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC) and the Foreign Language Department of Centre for Modern Languages and Human Sciences (CMLHS). Members of the delegation were Mr Rosmahalil Bin Azrol Abdullah (Head Department of International Language, UTHM and head of delegation), Madam Yeoh Li Cheng, Mr Mohamad Radi Bin Ahmad, Mr Hu Pengcheng (Mandarin language teachers), Nurul Sabrina Binti Zan (Spanish language teacher) and 1 Arabic language teacher.

The objective of this academic visit by UTHM was to find out more on the Mandarin subject offered by Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), including the establishment of the MLCC, Mandarin modules, assessment methods, activities etc. Besides that, an academic discussion between the Arabic language teachers from both UTHM and UMP was also taken place.

The delegation of UTHM was also given a cordial reception by Ms Yong Ying Mei (MLCC Director), Madam Kang Mei Feng, Mr. Tan Wai Chung, Ms Wang Xuemei, Ms Deng Xingmei, Ms Jin Yongxin (Mandarin language teachers) and Madam Mardhiyyah Binti Zamani (Arabic language teacher) during the visit.
