Mandarin for All Book Claimed Two Awards in Cendekia Bitara Awards 2017

6 April 2018- ‘Mandarin for All’ book claimed two awards in two different categories (Research Products and Books) in Cendekia Bitara Awards 2017.

The book was written by Centre for Modern Languages and Human Sciences (CMLHS) Mandarin language teachers, Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director of Mandarin Language and Culture Centre) and Ms. Cheng Ching Yee.
Cendekia Bitara Award is a platform to honour outstanding achievements by staff and researchers at Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP). It has various categories, including quality, research fields, innovation, commercialization, publication and creativity. The awards to the recipients were presented by UMP’s Chancellor, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah. Also present at the ceremony were Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, Chairman of Board of Directors, Y.H. Dato’s Sri Ibrahim bin Ahmad, PJN., SSAP.,and UMP’s Vice Chancellor, YH. Professor Dato’ Sri Ts. Dr. Daing Nasir Ibrahim and many other university top management as well the award recipients.
