MoA between UMP and Leadworkz Group

Pekan – On last 20th July 2018 Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Leadworkz Group of Companies (LW) through Leadworkz Training Service PIt and Leadworkz Media Sdn. Bhd. had signed a Memorandum of Agreement and launched MandarIN 28 Program.

The signing cum launching ceremony (MoA) was witnessed by Professor Dato' Sri. Ts. Dr. Daing Nasir Ibrahim (UMP Vice-Chancellor) whilst the agreement was signed by Prof. Dato' Dr. Mashitah Mohd Yusoff (UMP Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Innovation), Stan Lee (Chief Executive Officer, Leadworkz Media Sdn. Bhd.) and Angelin Boo (Director Leadworkz Training Service Plt) in UMP Pekan.

MandarIN 28 Program is a Mandarin learning program which is offered to corporate, private companies and industries aimed at enhancing communication skills in Mandarin within 28 hours. “Mandarin is deemed as a business language after English. Learning Mandarin as a foreign language will enhance one’s communication and connection with the Chinese business network en route for the world economy”, said Professor Dato 'Sri. Ts. Dr. Daing Nasir Ibrahim. The Mandarin for All book has been selected as the training module for this program.

The Mandarin for All book was published by UMP Publisher in 2017 and Ms. Yong Ying Mei, the Director of Mandarin Language & Culture Centre (MLCC) is also one of the book authors. The book was awarded as The Best Education Book at the National Book Award last year. The book was designed based on the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK) syllabus and it has been verified to be effective for Mandarin learning within 28 hours for non-native speakers through on the spot learning strategy.
