Farewell for Volunteer Language Teachers

Gambang, 25 June 2019 – The Volunteer Language Teachers (VLT) from Confucius Institute (CI), Ms Deng Xingmei, Ms Yang Wenwen, Ms Pan Jiashuang, Ms Fan Naiyu, Ms Sun Liuwen, Ms Wang Xiuhua and Ms Wang Shuting were invited to have an afternoon tea with Professor Ir. Dr Wan Azhar Bin Wan Yusoff, the newly appointed UMP Vice-Chancellor (VC) at the Chancellery, UMP Gambang campus. The VC expressed his gratitude on behalf of the university for their services and contributions to the development of Mandarin language among UMP students.

Apart from that, the VLTs were also invited to Centre of Modern Languages and Human Sciences (CMLHS) for Eid Celebration and their farewell on 18 June 2019 in UMP Pekan. Also present during the event were Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Nubli Bin Abdul Wahab (Dean of CMLHS), Dr. Jamal Rizal Bin Razali (Head of Foreign Language Department) and Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director of Confucius Institute).
