Confucius Institute Received Newspaper Sponsorship

12 October 2019 – Confucius Institute (CI) Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) had organized a Newspaper Handover ceremony by receiving Sin Chew Daily newspaper for 2019 from its sponsor, Mr Yap Chan Bon, official representative for Dato Franky Chua Goon Eng. The ceremony was officiated by Dr Mansor Bin Sulaiman official representative for Vice Chancellor of UMP. In his speech, he praised CI ability to find the sponsor for newspaper for 9 years.
Ms. Yong Ying Mei (CI director) has expressed her gratitude earlier in the welcoming speech to Dato Franky Chua Goon Eng for his generosity in sponsoring Sin Chew Daily newspaper for 2019. Apart from that, she also expressed her appreciation to Sin Chew Daily for the news published about CI or UMP all these years.
