2021 China Scholarship Online Workshop

10 April 2020 - Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP) organized an online briefing China Scholarship Workshop through Google Meet and facebook live. Participants included high school students and graduates, university students and graduates.
In the beginning of workshop, Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director Malaysia, CI UMP) explained the types of scholarships for studying in China. At the same time, the requirements for HSK scores required for applying for scholarships in China. She also introduced Chinese Test Centre of UMP provide HSK Test and HSK Intensive courses offered by CI UMP.
The workshop introduced six China universities, including Hebei University, Tianjin University, Yanshan University, Ningxia University, Lanzhou University of Technology and Hainan Normal University. There are universities of comprehensive, science and engineering, education, and ethnic. The PIC from these six universities introduced scholarship and programmes for Malaysian high school graduates and university graduates.
In the Q& A session, the participants actively asked questions. Director CI UMP answered the questions proposed by participants which included advantages and characteristics of the six Universities related to the scholarship application, programme choices, scholarship application deadline, as well as the HSK test preparation, HSK registration, etc.
In concluding speech, Professor Dr. Guo Fuliang (Director China, CI UMP) thanked these six China universities on preparing for this online workshop. He hoped Malaysian students take good opportunity for applying China scholarship.
