MLCC presenters participated in Chinese Bridge Competition for Malaysia Region
Monday, 2 June 2014|Yong Ying Mei MLCC presenters participated in Chinese Bridge Competition for Malaysia Region On 1 June 2014, three students had representative Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) in “The 13th Chinese Bridge- Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students 2014 for Malaysia region at Kong Zi Institute, Universiti Malaya. They are Sharmila A/P Sewajje (AA13243), Fahad Amirul Aziz Bin Baharuddin Aziz (AB13042) and Muhammad Nuh Fitri Shah Bin Roslee (CC12016). All of them won consolation prize in the competition with 80 marks. The competition consisted of a series of tests including public speech, questions session and talent show in Chinese arts. Three candidates gave the speech on “A Chinese song as I know”. On talent shows, Sharmila A/P Sewajje (AA13243) presented a Chinese Fan dance, however Fahad Amirul Aziz Bin Baharuddin Aziz (AB13042) and Muhammad Nuh Fitri Shah Bin Roslee (CC12016) showed Chinese Kung fu. Yong Ying Mei was appointed as the trainer for UMP candidates in this event. The 13th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition for Foreign College Students 2014” was organized by headquarters of Kong Zi Institute or Hanban, China. There are 27 candidates from 12 institutes took part in took part in the competition, namely HELP University College, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), UNITAR International University, University of Malaya (UM), University Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), University Putra Malaysia (UPM),University Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), University Sains Malaysia (USM), University Teknologi MARA (UiTM), University Utara Malaysia (UUM) and University Malaysia Pahang (UMP). |
