A Visit to the People’s Republic of China Embassy

On 23 December 2016, the Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and Hebei University (HBU) of China delegates received a hearty welcome to the Embassy of People’s Republic of China in Malaysia from Madam Ma Jia, the Minister Counsellor cum Deputy Chief of Mission. UMP was represented by Professor Dato’ Dr Rosli Mohd Yunus (Deputy Vice Cancellor, UMP), Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Mandarin Language and Culture Centre (MLCC) Director) and Madam Nornashua Farhani Binti Abdul Ghaffar (Assistant Administrative officer) whereas the Hebei University envoys were; Professor Ren Deliang (Vice President, HBU), Professor Zhao Jie (Dean of Electronic Information Engineering College, HBU) and Associate Professor Liang Weige (Deputy Director of Confucius Institute Office, HBU). In this official visit, application documents for the establishment of Kong Zi Institute in UMP were submitted following its approval from the Ministry of Higher Education (Malaysia).
