Six UMP students awarded China Scholarship for participated 2020 Online Summer Program of Shanghai University

27 July 2020 – Six students of Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) participated 2020 Online Summer Program of Shanghai University under China Scholarship. They are Kirthana A/P Thiruchseivam (CA17153), Wan Asnida Izzaty Binti Che Mohd Nordin (KA17249), Whangee Wallinton (AA18088), Mathiarasu A/L Ganesan (CB18055), Ayuni Nafisya Binti Abu Bakar (CB18107) and Alleyssa Syafinas Binti Mazlan (KA19153).

A total of 300 students from 20 countries participated 2020 Online Summer Program of Shanghai University for four weeks starting 27th July 2020 until 21st August 2020. Both directors Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP), namely Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director Malaysia, CI UMP) and Prof. Dr. Guo Fuliang (Director China, CI UMP) had been invited to opening ceremony for 2020 Online Summer Program of Shanghai University via Tencent conference.

The online summer program contains three course category which is Mandarin course, academic lectures and visit online. Each day has its own activities and time of program. Hopefully although it is online, the students will be able feel fun and gain a lot of experience and new knowledge besides knowing new friends around the world.
