Webinar on International Chinese Language Teaching in the Context of Indonesia Language/ Malay Language

31 October 2020-Asia-Pacific Consortium on Teaching Chinese as an International Language organized a Webinar on International Chinese Language Teaching in the Context of Indonesia Language / Malay Language through online.

This webinar has invited six speakers from Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. Ms Yong Ying Mei, director Malaysia of Confucius Institute UMP is one of the speakers for the Webinar on International Chinese Language Teaching in the Context of Indonesia Language / Malay Language. She presented a study on the medium language use of International Chinese language teaching in Malaysia.

A total of 400 participants consisting of Mandarin teachers and lecturers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and China participated in the webinar online. Webinars have provided a platform for exchange of views to enhance the teaching of Mandarin as a foreign language among the teaching staff.
