UMP Student Won The First Prize in The 20th Chinese Bridge Competition for Malaysian Preliminary

17 July 2021 – Syahirah Syazwani Binti Shamsudin (CA19140) from Faculty of Computing, Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) won the first prize in the 20th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Malaysian Preliminary. She will represent Malaysia in the 20th Chinese Bridge Competition Global Finals coming soon.

She appreciated to the trainers, Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director, Confucius Institute UMP) and Volunteer Language Teacher (VLT) of CI UMP for their efforts and contribution in training on this competition.

Other participants that represent UMP were Adelia Febriani Binti Zaid (CA20079) and Panita A/P Prepan (CD20122) won Excellence Award. Congratulate to Khazimah Damia Binti Rosfauwizamzamar (PA19076) and Muhammad Hasraf Aikal Bin Khairul Ihsan (MH20036) for their excellent performances and enthusiasm in this competition.

The 20th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition Malaysian Preliminary organized by Kongzi Universiti Malaysia and Embassy China in Malaysia. The content of competition includes Chinese language and culture knowledge quiz, talent show, public speaking and questions & answers session.

Professor Dr. Guo Fuliang and Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director, Confucius Institute UMP) plan a series of training for UMP candidates to represent Malaysia in the 20th Chinese Bridge Competition Global Finals.
