MLCC Promotional Program at Jom Masuk U Carnival 2012

On 14 and 15 January 2012, the MLCC joint the Jom Masuk U Carnival 2012, Pahang Zone, which was held at Sultan Ahmad Shah International Convention Center (SASICC), Kuantan. The objective of joining the carnival was to promote the Mandarin courses offered by the MLCC, and MLCC’s booth was set up under the Department of Academic Management, UMP. Among the MLCC programs promoted during the carnival included Mandarin Short Courses, Preparatory Course for Hebei University, China Further Studies Program as well as Intensive Mandarin and Tour Twinning Program. Realizing the importance of Mandarin as one of the most-spoken world languages, MLCC took the opportunity to expose the general public to the need to learn the language as a second language. MLCC aimed at attracting high school students and working individuals. The idea to join the carnival was proposed by Chong Ah Kow, MLCC Coordinator, and among CMLHS associates who lend their hands during the carnival were Yong Ying Mei, Zhang Cuicui and Nornashua Farhani Abdul Ghaffar.
