Nanyang Siang Pau (19.01.2011, National News page A10) Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Dato Saifuddin hit the 24 seasons drum to start off the launching ceremony of Mandarin Language & Culture Centre on 18.01.2011. It was witnessed by YH Prof Dato Dr Daing Mohd Nasir Bin Daing Ibrahim, Vice Chancellor of UMP And Prof Dr Wang Hongrui, President of Hebei University of China. In his speech, Dato Saifuddin said that the Mandarin Language & Culture Centre set up by UMP in cooperation with Hebei University of China could help non-mandarin speaking students to learn another language, to stimulate their thinking and to improve their competency. |
