MLCC Welcomes Two Practical Teachers from New Era College

Two practical teachers from New Era College, Selangor reported for duty at the Mandarin Language & Culture Centre (MLCC), Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) on 6th February 2017. They were Chen Yin Teng and Ng Xiu Wen. The practical teachers will be involved in various academic activities at the centre for two months. MLCC had organized an orientation program for both of them on 6th February. Among the activities during the program were to introduce UMP and Mandarin courses to them. They made several courtesy calls to the management team of the Centre for Modern Languages & Human Sciences; Associate Professor Dr Muhammad Nubli Bin Abdul Wahab (Dean), Dr Aini Binti Ahmad (Deputy Dean, Academic) and Dr Jamal Rizal Bin Razali (Head of Foreign Languages Department).

Mandarin Unit CNY Luncheon

Mandarin Languages & Culture Centre (MLCC) had organised a Chinese New Year lunch on 17^th January 2016. The lunch was prepared by three volunteer teachers, Ju Meng, Shao Zhenglan and Zhang Weiqing from Hanban, China. The Director of MLCC, Ms Yong Ying Mei, language teachers from Centre for Modern Languages & Human Sciences (CMLHS), Ms Cheng Ching Yee and Mdm Kang Mei Feng, as well as the MLCC Administrative Assistant, Madam Nornashua Farhani Abdul Ghaffar attended the luncheon. It was the opportunity for the three volunteer teachers to showcase the southern-style Chinese steamboat. All the attendees expressed their compliment and gratitude to the volunteer teachers for preparing such a splendid lunch for them. During the luncheon, Ms Yong Ying Mei, the Director of MLCC, thanked the volunteer teachers for their contributions towards MLCC in particular.
