Confucius Institute (CI) Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) held 2nd Online Chinese Proficiency Competition 2020 via Google meet on 28 December and 30 December 2020. A total of 123 students from UMP and Kolej Profesional Mara (KPM) participated in the competition.

The competition is divided into two groups were HSK 1 and HSK 2 which is according to Chinese proficiency test format. Participants were appreciated that to get opportunities to practice Mandarin and know their Chinese proficiency level through this competition.

The winners of the competition were given certificate and scholarship to join online Mandarin and cultural programme of Hebei University (HBU), China on January 2021.

Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director Malaysia, CI UMP) expressed his gratitude to all the staff from CI UMP and Kolej Profesional Mara (KPM) who had given their full commitment in this competition.

30 October 2020-The title of the study "Xin HSK 6 yubing ti fenxi ji xianshang peixun yanjiu" is a study on grammar questions in HSK 6 and online training led by Prof. Dr Guo Fuliang (Director China of Confucius Institute UMP) and its member Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director Malaysia of Confucius Institute UMP) received a total of RMB15,000 Research fund project of Chinese Test International Co., Ltd, China. This study aims to study grammar questions in HSK level 6 and develop HSK grammar online teaching to improve the result of candidates HSK 6.
