2020 Chinese Bridge Competition UMP Preliminary

30 May 2020 – Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP) held 2020 Chinese Bridge Competition UMP Preliminary through ZOOM application. There was 24 students of UMP registered and participated for this event. The competition was to talk a speech with the title “One World, One Family”. The event started with opening speech by Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Rosli Bin Hainin, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic & International). He is very proud to all student that try their best to learn and speak another language.

The judges are Ms. Yong Ying Mei, Director Malaysia of CI UMP, Professor Dr.Guo Fuliang, Director China of CI UMP, Madam Kang Mei Feng, language teacher of Modern Language Center, Mr. Bao Cao and Mr. Wang Bin from Faculty of Civil Engineering Technology. Each participants was given 2 minutes to present their speech. The winners will get to represent UMP to compete at 19th Chinese Bridge-Chinese Proficiency Competition 2020 for Foreign University and College School Student in Malaysia that will held by Kong Zi Institute University of Malaya, 27th June 2020 through ZOOM.

The champion of this competition is Alleyssa Syafinas Binti Mazlan (KA19153). The second place is Danial Haqueem Lim Bin Mohamad Alif Lim (SB18071). The third place is Wan Asnida Izzaty Binti Che Mohd Nordin (KA17249). The first Consolation is Nurul Shabilla Shaherra Binti Muhammad Asri Tan (CD17058). The second Consolation is Nur Annis Sofea Binti Rahimi (KA18195). Congratulations to all winners. Their performance was very excellent.

Ms. Yong Ying Mei, Director of Malaysia CI UMP appreciated every Mandarin teacher for their efforts and contributions in training and preparing participants for this competition.
