16 July 2020- Centre for Strategic Academic with Confucius Institute (CI) Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) held an online collaboration meeting with Tianjin University (TJU), China.
The meeting was held to discuss on potential collaborations between College Engineering, Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology, Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology from UMP, while representative of TJU namely School of Chemical Engineering and Technology, School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, School of International Education, Office of International Cooperation, Tianjin University, School of International Education.
Ms Yong Ying Mei (Director Malaysia CI UMP), Professor Dr Guo Fuliang (Director China CI UMP), Associate Prof. Ir. Dr. Chin Sim Yee (Director, Centre for Strategic Academic Collaboration) involved in the meeting.
Also present were Associate Prof. Dr. Che Ku Mohammad Faizal Bin Che Ku Yahya (Dean, Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering Technology), Associate Prof. Dr. Mohd Hasbi Bin Ab Rahim (Dean, Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology), Dr. Saifful Kamaluddin Bin Muzakir @ Lokman (Deputy Dean, Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology), Associate Prof. Dr. Jolius Bin Gimbun (Head of Department for Chemical and Process Engineering, College Engineering), Dr Mohd Azmir Bin Mohd Azhari (Director Centre For International Relation UMP) and etc.
Besides that, representative from Tianjin University were Prof. Xia Shuqian and Ms. Wang Jun (Both Vice Dean, School of Chemical Engineering and Technology), Dr. Zhang Ling (Vice Dean, School of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology), Ms. Yang Xiaorui (Vice Dean, School of International Education), Ms. Du Yufei (Project Executive, Office of International Cooperation, Tianjin University), Mr.Liu Wenwei (Director of International Admissions Office, School of International Education) and etc.
