First Anniversary of Launching Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang

14 October 2020 -Due to pandemic of COVID-19, the first anniversary of launching Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP) celebrated simply according to Standard of Procedure (SOP).

Prof. Ir. Dr. Wan Azhar Bin Wan Yusoff (Vice Chancellor, UMP) had awarding an honour certificate to Prof. Dr. Guo Fuliang (Director China, CI UMP) for his contributions and commitments to serve as Director China of Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang for one year. It is to show appreciation for his delicate towards Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP).

While Prof. Dr. Meng Qingyu, Vice President of Hebei University (HBU) send a congratulatory letter by expressing that CI UMP not only promote cultural exchange between Malaysia and China, it is also showing friendship that build between two countries. Prof. Dr. Meng also handed over a roll of Chinese paper cutting and some Mandarin books to CI UMP who represented by Ass. Prof. Liang Weige, Director Confucius Institute Center, HBU.

Universiti Malaysia Pahang and Hebei University (HBU) will continuous work together to spread the knowledge of Mandarin and Chinese culture to others in future.
