Joy with Chinese New Year Arts Festival at CI UMP

13 January 2020 – Confucius Institute (CI) Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) had organized Chinese New Year Arts Festival together with Malaysian staffs and exchange students from Ningxia University, China at UMP Pekan.
Professor Dr. Guo Fuliang (Director China, CI UMP) introduce Chinese New Year customs of Chinese calligraphy and Chinese paper cutting. Besides that, all Volunteer Language Teacher from Hanban, China, namely Mr. Li Xin, Mr. Shen Guoqing, Ms. Xu Jinzhi and Ms. Yang Liuping decorated the CI UMP with Chinese calligraphy and Chinese paper cutting.
All participants joyful in this program during Chinese New Year. Hopefully everyone being blissful on this year. CI UMP wish everyone Xin Nian Kuai Le (Happy New Year).

Student fun and joy in Chinese New Year Cultural Arts Program

21 January 2020 - Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP) and College Vocational Kuantan, Pahang co-organized Chinese New Year (CNY) Cultural Arts Program at College Vocational Kuantan, Pahang.
Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director Malaysia, CI UMP) started the program by giving a brief yet introduction of Chinese cultural arts during CNY, such as Chinese calligraphy, Chinese paper cutting and blow painting to all students of took Mandarin as a foreign language in College Vocational Kuantan.
The students and teachers were exposed to practice CNY cultural arts which demonstrated by Volunteer Language Teacher from Hanban, China, namely Mr. Li Xin, Mr. Shen Guoqing, Ms. Xu Jinzhi and Ms. Yang Liuping.
Mr. Mokhtar Bin Mohd Redan (Deputy Director Academic, College Vocational Kuantan) praised this program was very fun and knowledgeable especially for students to understand the Chinese culture arts during Chinese New Year.
The winners of cultural arts were given certificate, gift and scholarship to study at Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP) for one year in anyone Mandarin course.
Professor Dr Guo Fuliang (Director China, CI UMP) expressed his gratitude to all the staff from CI UMP and College Vocational Kuantan who had given their full commitment in this program.
