20 January 2020 –Both directors Confucius Institute Universiti Malaysia Pahang (CI UMP), namely Ms. Yong Ying Mei (Director Malaysia, CI UMP) and Prof. Dr. Guo Fuliang (Director China, CI UMP) had been invited to Mandarin Module Improvement Workshop at College Vocational Kuantan, Pahang. They had been given some suggestions and comments after seeing the Mandarin syllabus and textbook of College Vocational by following the Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi (HSK) benchmark.
The workshop chaired by Mr Mokhtar Bin Mohd Redan (Deputy Director Academic, College Vocational Kuantan) and also present was Madam Hajah Mahnon Binti Shabudin (Principal of Assistant Director, Academic Management, Technical & Vocational Education Division, Ministry of Education Malaysia). The representative Mandarin Lecturers at College Vocational from other state also involved in the workshop. They are Mr Rozaid Bin Abdul Rahman (Main Mandarin Trainer, College Vocational Slim River), Mr Mohd Suzaziri Syazwa Bin Mat Su (Main Mandarin Trainer, College Vocational Kajang, Ms. Halimatussaadiah Binti Abdullah (Main Mandarin Trainer, College Vocational Rompin) and Madam Nor Rabiatul Adawiyah Binti Mohd Razlan (Mandarin Lecturer, College Vocational Kuantan).
